On the road, again: Dijon

Dijon is one medieval and mustardy town

All over town they were setting up for the Fete de la Musique

These gargoyles are ready to party

Practicing for the Fete

Ye old Duke's Palace

Now an art museum

Burgundy statues

Burgundy tombs

Off with his head!

Scary monsters in the wood

Official business happens here

More narrow streets!

More pedestrian malls!

More church spires!

More inventive urban reuse!

Even more churches!

Here is something new: polar bears.

My second-to-last kebab frite and possibly the best.

Beautiful burgundy countryside in the Cote d'Or
Taken from the train to Paris
Where I hoped to experience the Fete de la Musique
